Our Story

After years of living in apartments we finally got into a house and had the opportunity to decorate! And we get into it all! Every season and every holiday we (mostly my wife) go all out. She never misses a beat and it doesn’t matter if it’s Easter, Valentines, Independence Day, or whatever! She’s going to Dollar Tree and grabbing everything they have in holiday stock. For me personally though, I’ve never been much for decorating outside of Halloween and Christmas. I’m not sure why those two specifically but I fell in love with the whole process after climbing my roof and hanging lights the first time and I look forward to it every year. There’s just something magical about this time of year, I can’t explain it but there’s a special feeling that accompanies this season. Now, I’m not sure if I’m just remembering incorrectly or simply taking notice now that I’m an adult but Christmas doesn’t seem as bright as it used to be when I was a child. Maybe it’s a combination of the two but people just don’t seem to get in the same holiday spirit they used to and that’s where this whole thing comes in. After hanging my lights and concerned with the missing magic in my youth that I want my kids to experience I started to wonder if I could just start hanging peoples lights for them. That’s when I discovered there’s actually a whole industry for this! I am no stranger to heights nor lights and I actually used to work as an electrician hanging off the edge of skyscrapers 20 stories off the ground installing lighting protection for commercial buildings so I assure you, you’ve come to the right place!
